Accessibility

Be aware that each gallery page contains many animated gifs, some of which are flashy. Here's a quick rundown of the accessibility measures I've put in place!

Each page has multiple sections of gifs, divided into drawers. Click on the section header to close the drawer and hide them. There's also a "show/hide all" button.

Gifs play automatically, but you can toggle them off with the "disable animation" button at the top of the page. Once animation is disabled, you can manually play individual gifs by clicking on them. This feature is powered by freezeframe.js.

For maximum accessibility, please make sure Javascript is enabled in your browser! Otherwise, some of these features will be broken.

I'm not great with Javascript, so I want to give a huge thank you to Vance for their helpful guide, and to Sen, whose code I used!

This is a not-for-profit digital media archival project. I claim no ownership over any of the kao-ani in this gallery except where otherwise specifically noted. I strive to track down sources for graphics, but that's not always possible.
